"The Oblates of the Passion are an Association of Christ's Faithful affiliated with a Passionist Monastery or residence." (Canons, 298,301)
"Our purpose as Oblates is to promote devotion to and the grateful memory of Jesus' sacred Passion, striving to understand its redemptive meaning in our lives and in the lives of others." (Canon 305, #1)
Oblates are members who have made the public Act of Oblation. As much as possible, they attend the monthly meetings as well as the annual retreat and other gatherings.
